Blinkerfluid or Underkill (tidewater, I believe?) had some sort of welder a month or so ago. Might have been MIG tho'.

Just remember, a 1 pc roadcrafter and a wee-strom is the new bad ass hot shit. Oh and it isn't kool unless it has a cheap JC whitney trunk too.

Oh and on a side note.... Tag on
I just saw Observe and Report the other night (or at least half of it) and I was wondering about that bike. Looked like a Transalp maybe.

Let's see here...

edit: I'm back. It is a Transalp and go figure, the best reference I could find was here on advrider..

I have a Miller Maxstar 100Amp Tig welder and really like it. For the thicker stuff I run it off my generator (208v) since I only have 30 amp 110v service in my detached garage. I bought mine used for around 600 clams. The high freq would be nice as would a liquid cooled torch but I make do. You could always get a new/used one from Arcet.

The Black Sheep "USS Brooklyn"
Caliente "Stupid Wings"
Buz-N-Neds "the Flay Slayer"

Well we've all done the BBQ joint but what about the others? This show just makes me hungry

Only predicting 92 for the high Mon and Tue in Richmond. Lets see.... 2-3 degree's for every thousand feet in elevation. 2.5 x 4= around 82 degrees for the high up there. Hmmmmm Plus a front is coming through....could be even cooler over there.

Well, even if it's hot, the Blue Ridge Parkway is cool all the way down south. You could ease down and stay around Mount Rogers/White Top area. It will not get above 75 on that mountian.
Cool sleeping there. I'm partial to the Mt. Rogers highlands area though. If you go that way, let me know and I can advise you. I will be in that area myself, next weekend through to Sunday. If anyone needs a camp spot there, let me know, you'd be welcome. I'll be with the family but plan on hauling the bike.

While I'm slaving away in the heat building these:

My faithful companions are chilling on the (relatively) cool garage floor:

Dog on the left is my daughter's dog Gerrard, and Chopper is on the right. Am watching her dog while she's up in MD playing (new) aunt.
