Sir Sparkz, Congratulations! You have a beautiful family! Enjoy your time with them as much as possible as the next few years will flash by in an instant!

-George Orwell

RIP Sgt Callahan...May we never forget the contributions of those "rough" men and women who have protected us over the past 200 years and especially those who have made the ultimate selfless sacrifice.

Marine Sgt. Sean T. Callahan
Died April 23, 2011 serving during Operation Enduring Freedom

23, of Warrenton, Va.; assigned to 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died April 23 in Helmand province, Afghanistan, while conducting combat operations. Also killed was Lance Cpl. Dominic J. Ciaramitaro.

Some know Jan Callahan at Morton's BMW in Fredericksburg Va. She is a mechanic and service writer. My heart goes out to Jan and her family. Keep her in your prayers.

Very sad. I'll be in there later today.

I'm Curious

A couple of months ago I joined the Richmond BMW Riders. I'm curious ... are any of you inmates also a member of that club? I know CycleDoc (Eppa) is.

I'm just trying to put names/handles/faces/words together.

No, we did not. The correlation is purely coincidental. The name Ewan has Celtic roots, and means "Of the Yew Tree" or "From the Yew Tree", our family crest is a large tree. The name is an homage to my Grandfather, who recently passed away. The fact that I have a man-crush on Ewan McGregor is also purely coincidental.

I've been a member of the Richmond BMW Riders for 10 years now. Also the Newsletter Editor and this year's Sherando Rally Master. If you need any info lemme know.

I had the chance to experience CycleDoc's tire service today...Eppa is a nice guy and his skills made short work of my tire project
I think I'll save the cursing & busted knuckles for road side repair

I introduce to ya'll the Heidenau K60 Scout 150/70-18....

Man, that's some gnarly looking rubber!

I wonder how it'll handle burn outs?

Oh, right...forgot I posted this.
I think I'm good. Just don't have the time to install a sprocket and chain this week. Turns out my roommate has a blowtorch nozzle, and I've got a bunch of spare propane tanks in storage somewhere, so I think I'm good.
