I don't have patients scheduled today so I plan to go by MCV this AM to visit Jimmy.

It's received a fresh service..........Oh boy!!!, they changed the oil and filter, that's about all a service is on one of those bikes.

Chuck,
The Sheetz in Flat Rock sounds great. So far its 5 of us, a manageble group. I'm glad you and Madstrom are coming along as you have MUCH more experience regarding the FR's in that area. How about we meet around 0800? I can go earlier or later, you tell me...
Eddy

Forks of Buffalo or Alhambra are great starting points. The two areas merge together in the GWNP and look to be a lot of fun. Let me know if anything else pops up. Lots to do in that area.
Keep us posted.

I hope I can make it next Thursday. I'll call today and make a "reservation" for ten next Thursday at 6:30! (They don't officially take reservations but they do appreciate a heads up when being assaulted by a dozen hungry ADV'ers!) I'll also ask if they might be able to secure 20 feet in front of the place for bike parking as they have no parking lot (can't promise this as it's a city street)

Wow, I hated to read that about Jimmy. You're in my thoughts, man. I'm sure you'll be posting and RIDING again soon.

In other news - I hope to make it Kuba Kuba on Thursday!

Jimmy Mootz update

I went to visit Jimmy today at MCV.He was pretty broken up-a car pulled out in front of him while he was doing about 45-50 mph on Rt522 on Father's Day not far from home.Med Flight to MCV Trauma Unit -broken leg, collapsed diaphragm and collapsed lung.Fortunately no apparent head trauma. He has a long way to go for full recovery but is in good spirits. He feels fortunate to be alive and feels God has more for him to do.His wife Deanna was there with him. He's in the MCV Main Hospital,9th Floor, room 202.He'll probably be there for at least another week before rehab can begin.Pray for healing of skin on his leg so that they can then do reconstruction. As we know he's a BIG Guy with a BIG Heart and a BIG Faith-he doesn't go by SRMN8R for nothing.God speed for complete healing JImmy.

You can change it back. The little drop down menu at the bottom. It was on the right on mine.
