Need to borrow a helmet

I am taking a riding course next Friday and need a DOT helmet. The Schuberth that I use daily is euro spec so not DOT or Snell certified. Does anybody have an XL full face helmet that has not been dropped or damaged that I could borrow for the weekend. I am hoping to sneak by with my Schuberth but I want to have some insurance in my side case. Thanks in advance.

We have been using a NOMAR for several years now.... what a great Machine!

I've got a FF in the garage that isn't getting much use. I believe it's even an XL. (I'm in C'ville right now, or I'd go check.) It's my DOT "winter" helmet. I normally use a DS-type helmet for all but the coldest months.

I'll be back in Richmond this afternoon and will be there all day tomorrow as well. I'm over near Parham and River. Call me at 513-6430 this afternoon if you're interested.

Tony - this usually isn't me, but I am going to have to bow out. My wife gently reminded me that Sunday is our grandson's first birthday, and my daughter is having a party for him up in MD. My sister, her hubby, their son and wife will also be there, so no pressure whatsoever for me to be there too..... you understand.

My Spanish Rice dish will have to be fixed another time.

Thank you very much for all the offers of a helmet. Mr. Plassman came through and since we work at the same place brought it into work and passed it off to me today. I thought I was taking a shot in the dark with this request but the Richmond ADV crowd came through and several stepped to the plate.

Shoot, Jimmy.... You have no idea how much WE wish you could come!

Hope you're mending well. We're all thinking about you and to be honest we're all watching the other guy on the road a little closer than before (at least I am.)

My official list has 3 yesses and 2 maybes on it right now. I am starting to consider rescheduling for a another Sunday that might be better for more folks.

This isn't a cancellation (yet)

Just for the sake of conversation - Would another Sunday... say 7/31 work better for more people.

No worries if you reschedule....I say it would be great if more of the 'locals' could make it....
