You want hot?? Join me in the barn loft this evening painting 8 pieces of trim work. Was up there last night for about 3-4 hours priming one side. Tonight I'll hit the other side and hope to get them up tomorrow evening.

What heat?!
What heat?! These nurses have been freezing me all day with the a/c set at 58! Although I am donning my 'Stich, boots, full face helmet and gloves for my battle down I-95 South in 2 minutes, should be "interesting". I keep telling myself that slow roasting for for a few minutes is better than road rash for 2 months or more! Chuck taught me a trick last week, fill up up your Camelback 3/4 full, toss in freezer and you have ice cold water for several hours the next day! Repeat at work for the ride home!

I like to take a big swig off the camelbak and then just let it drool out of my mouth soaking the front for a few minutes of relief.....on one campout last year a buddy filled all the pockets of his jacket with ice at a wawa....sadly, on my lunch run today I had no camelbak or wawa enroute...

Update
My left shoulder is "subluxed", or something like that. Apparently it's kind of dislocated, bbut not totally. Hopefully the docs can fix me up quickly, cause they're planning on sending me home next Friday.

Made the ride home safely today.
There *was* a difference in my bike's stability... and it due to the way I was riding. I got up early this morning, re-checked the tire pressure, hit the road and arrived at Morton's 2 hours later. I loosened up a bit during the ride and realized how stiff and tentative I had become. I was looking for problems and overreacting to every bump and twitch. Morton's squeezed me in, and the ABS only required a computer reset. They told me the computer code said the bike had been tipped over - I'm not sure I appreciate BMW killing my ABS until I went to a dealer for a reset! Early this week I was having a blast on WV mountain roads... I'm surprised that it messed with my head to that degree. It's probably a good thing that I went ahead and put in 200 miles of riding today despite the heat. |

I have a recipe for Spanish Rice I was going to fix for Teeter's thing Sunday, but a lady at work gave me a recipe for a Rican version she's been using - and - some of the spices that go in it. Sooo, think I'm gonna fix that instead.
Yup! That's what I'm gonna do.
