Fishing Trip

There is still room for anyone wanting to go fishing tomorrow out of Va Beach. 3:30 departure from Rudy's Inlet. Eddy and I are heading down early in the morning. We are just paying for fuel so the more that go... the cheaper the trip. Limit 6. 35' Viking twin diesel.

I'm having shoulder surgery Friday so I can't officially throw my name into the hat but if the pain is not too bad I may stop by just to say hello to everyone. I would hate to miss an event so close to home. I also live in Glen Allen, just on the other side of Woodman Rd.

Come one, come all.... just let me know if you are indeed coming so I can get a rough count. If it's hot, humid and nasty outside I'll try to have some moto-tainment for us inside.

Out of consideration for all you working folk, who can't take the time to go fishing.... I'll volunteer to go for you. If you have the money, but no time, I have the time, but no money. Seems like a perfect match.

So here's my offer. You pay the $150 for the fuel, I'll go in your place, introduce myself to everyone as you, fish for you, take lots of pics, and bring home everything that I catch for you. Heck, I'll even photo-shop your face onto my manly body in all the pics. All for only $150. This offer is limited, so call now.

Where else are you going to find a deal like that?

jeff

Jeff,
I'm sending positive vibes your way so you can go. Only 3 of us and the Captain so far. Plenty of room for more.

Pretty cool...
I couldn't watch this at work. The video was blurry for some reason - but - here at home, clear as a bell.

Needless to say, I want one.

Best Bar band I've ever seen live

Just got in from Wabi-Sabi in P-burg. Sat thru a set of their "Wednesday Night" band. The Sports Bar Rock Stars. I've seen a lot of live concerts in my time, but up close and personal, these guys were unbelievable. Three members, drums, bass and lead, but they rocked everything from Stevie Ray, to Stevie Wonder, the AWB, Frampton, and Skynyrd, to more contemporary stuff. They ended with Frampton's "Do you feel like we do" (complete with talk box) and got a standing ovation. Those guys can rock.

Oh, the bassist is Keith Horne. A professional musician who has toured with Trisha Yearwood, Waylon Jennings, Tanya Tucker, and Frampton. He's currently in the group Hot Apple Pie. Good god that man can groove on a bass.

And they play for FREE every wednesday at the Wabi-Sabi. I know where I'll be next wednesday. They are one of the best kept secrets in the region. Maybe we need an ADV night next week in Pburg.

Jeff

#8 and counting

I had my 8th surgery resulting from the crash I was in on Fathers Day. This was a skin grafting procedure, and we hope it will seal up the large wound on my right leg. This surgery was planned to be done in a few weeks, but the decided to do it now instead. Hopefully, all will go well and I can go home Mon or Tue.

Ride safe y'all.

Jimmy, since I'm back now, please let me offer a belated wish for continued healing, and strength and understanding for your family as they help you rehab. I know this is a difficult period for you all. I wish you Godspeed on your journey thru recovery.
