Yesterday would have been our son's 18th. birthday.

Several of his good friends since grade school must have remembered because they stopped by the house last evening for a surprise visit. It was a nice night.

Connor and Caden at Connor's 11th. birthday party.

Three members, drums, bass and lead, but they rocked everything from Stevie Ray, to Stevie Wonder, the AWB, Frampton, and Skynyrd, to more contemporary stuff. They ended with Frampton's "Do you feel like we do" (complete with talk box) and got a standing ovation. Those guys can rock.

Oh, the bassist is Keith Horne. A professional musician who has toured with Trisha Yearwood, Waylon Jennings, Tanya Tucker, and Frampton. He's currently in the group Hot Apple Pie. Good god that man can groove on a bass.

And they play for FREE every wednesday at the Wabi-Sabi. I know where I'll be next wednesday. They are one of the best kept secrets in the region. Maybe we need an ADV night next week in Pburg.

Guy Young, do you have a MIG welder? I've got 4 small screw/rivet holes in my muffler I'd really like to patch up before heading down to the Dragon next week. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes, I'd think.

You have to have Granite?

I did my own with soapstone from out near scottsville this fall....easy to work with, cuts with diamond tools. Glues with epoxy. Built a farmhouse sink and everything. Fraction of what granite costs and a great finish.

If you are at all handy you can do it too!!!!

Nah, it's stainless. I tried to braze the holes closed, but that didn't work...

I'll need to pick up some stainless filler rods tomorrow. Arcet should have them.

What is that around the outside perimeter of the cannister??
