Oil filters and camping

Freaking RT ..... I did not know Velosity had BMW oil filters. Thanks. I do however, like to visit Morton's and sit on the new bikes.

Eddy ..... I can not make the Morton's camping trip but I am planning on going to the Sherando Lake Rally in two weeks. Anyone heading over to Sherando Lake?

[QUOTE=skychs;16698415]Just my luck. I was on the GS headed up to Morton's to buy an oil filter. I missed everything. /QUOTE]

Yep - I was riding too. Didn't feel a thing. I came back from lunch, pulled in the parking lot at work, saw everybody outside and assumed there was a fire drill. I turned around and went for a joy ride. I swung by 15 mins later and everybody was still outside so I gave them a "beep beep" and a subtle ADV salute and took another loop.

I had fun riding and taking an extended lunch but I'm really disappointed that I missed it. Damn!

Were you in Cleveland when the "big one" hit up there a number of years ago? Terry Harrold was telling me about it. Said that several days later t-shirts started popping up all over the place saying: "I survived the Cleveland Quake of 19xx," or something to that effect.

Anybody feel the aftershock last night? News is calling it at 4.5 magnitude.

Had the bike up on the jack with the front wheel off, luckily everything is fine.

Suppose I should lower the lift when not wrenching on it now....

ZRX at 3.5 feet has to be unstable...

Go call you agent and get a rate for EQ insurance. Your homeowners likely does not have any coverage. None of my clients ever wanted it...they do now!!!

Jan 31, 1986, the shuttle blew up 3 days before.....
I lived in LeROY 2 MILES FROM THE EPICENTER....
Luckily I was up in a tree-stand about 30 feet, off the ground, bowhunting, 160 miles south in Noble county when it hit....even then, it sounded like a semi-truck running a "Jake-Brake" down hill for about 10 seconds....
That one was a 5.0 I believe, and there were aftershocks for 2 weeks..

Earth Quake Destruction pictures

A friend of mine near the epicenter of the recent earth quake sent these pictures of the devastation at his home in Richmond. Pictures were taken for insurance purposes
