Great! Come on Chuck, you must come along and bring "Purple Haze."

Welcome to retirement, Guy...!

.if you can fix stuff, they find out.

Yesterday it was a Valkyrie; big lump w/way too many carbs
has the hiccups.

Later, an '85 Wing arrives on a trailer; not charging. Plug is
fried, 2 wires burnt in two. Solder all wires; he's gone/happy,
plug in pocket for show n tell.

Then a Pegaso single, w/dirty carbs (2, on a single..?) and
other issues.

Plasma cutter make it easy to add a bigger foot to the Connie
sidestand.

Valk goes home tomorrow, running nice now. Peg goes on the
lift. Two bolts out and the whole rear plops down onto the rear
tire for carb access....

Then at 8pm a van drives in, pulling a boat w/a straight 6 inboard,
wants the carb cleaned. I sent him home; pull the carb off and
bring just it back.

Just another normal "retirement" day at year #14. Well, not quite
normal; no tire changes, and no time to ride; again...

Your welcome to join us. The weather looks to be outstanding.

Not that I have any control over it, but my wife and I have been invited to a rehersal dinner there Friday night. I was just curious of those who have been what to expect.

Yummy, yummy, yummy seafood! Very nice, disregard the fact that it is in Bass Pro Shops, it's very good and very reasonable!

Guy,

Sue and I have eaten there a few times, good food and not too pricey Hope they have reservations, we never do and have waited over an hour to be seated.

If we are camping at Otter creek Camp Ground we need to get there BEFORE DARK. I once rode with a friend of mine to Otter Creek in the dark and won't make that mistake again. It was suicide alley running the gauntlet of deer herds. We were down to 10-15 mph the last 10 miles. We were traumatized by the time we got to Otter Creek.

That being said do you have a departure time in mind for Friday. Dinner where? I'm game for any back roads the twistier the better as long as they are paved. Do you have any camping spots in mind for Saturday night? I'm guessing in WV somewhere? Helvitia maybe ? Are we restauranting Saturday night? The Hutte?

Later

Mickey
I'll send you a PM

Well, the bux is on them, and I would like to think they have made reservations considering the size of the group. But, can never tell with this younger generation, eh?

Weather report for Monterey, Helvita and areas around Cass/Green Bank for this weekend look like mid 50's during the day, high 30's or 40 at night and 20% chance of showers.

On a side note, I traded saddles with a guy from PA this week, he had a comfy "low" Mayer that lowered my saddle to 33". I had a ridiculously tall saddle that was also very wide and put my seat height over 36" (although the view on I-95 was great!) Anyways, after a 30 minute ride this morning, I seem to like my new seat, it seems that trading may have saved me $300+ as well by not having to buy a Aeroflow windsheild. The much lower saddle has put me into a nice, quiet, pocket of still air with the stock screen in the upright position. We'll see what two long days in the saddle this weekend discover...Riding Chuck's bike with the barn door Aeroflow may still change my mind as it will be much colder commuting in 8 weeks.
