I got back from Louisiana last night. What a great rally. Perfect campground, not so great roads to ride, but the food and the cajun hospitality made it all worthwhile.
Even managed to win the long distance award with 1300 miles one way.Coming home was way better than going down in the rain and the cold fronts. Had a SW tailwind the whole way home. Ran a steady 75 mph (GPS not speedo) and got 44-45 mpg the whole way too. Not bad for an ancient old high mileage twin. Glad to hear everyone had a large time at the Brrr ride. Maybe one day I'll ride and camp with you all again. jeff
