How about bull whip? Congrats on the new bow. I was just headed out to the range myself. If you need a place to shoot when home Rock Creek Park has archery ranges.

Sorry Teeter, missed this post yesterday.

Tempted to get back in the game at some point, but not now. I'm knee-deep in $hit right now adding a bunch of electrical accessories on a bike that already has some OEM wiring/stuff, and some home brew (speaking of beer) wiring for previously added aftermarket stuff. With no wiring diagrams of the previous installs, I'm in the process of sorting it all out before I add in the new electrical, uh, "stuff."

Electrical thingies are my forte, but it's just taking some time to figure out what's already there so I can make the necessary modifications to add to it.

Just don't forget why the game exists.. It's an excuse to get out and ride even when you don't have time to. Shoot, yesterday's grab up near Doswell turned my ten minute commute into an hour and a half joy ride.

A little tagging would extend your commute exponentially

Sure it will, but getting these bikes in and out of here as quickly as possible will help my "retirement income" exponentially too.

FWIW - found out yesterday that Gretchen is presently carrying a 4.0 in her OT studies. Very proud of her!!

Speaking of which, would early Friday afternoon be a bad time to get my rear wheel balanced?

Should be able to squeeze it in. Just give me a call before you head out: I'll be in the bar.

I can't argue with that (as much as I'd like to)

Go Gretchen! That is incredible. I'll have to to congratulate her the next time I see her at the old water cooler.

From Bob's BMW

Hello All!

I have some exciting news to share with you. Owner of Rawhyde Adventures, Jim Hyde, will be at Bob’s BMW on Tuesday, March 20 to present the “first ever viewing” of the Continental Divide Ride film they created! Bob’s is thrilled to have this exclusive opportunity and look forward to seeing you there, if you can manage to squeeze us in.

We understand this is a bit last minute and it is on a weeknight so Bob will provide pizza and beverages for the evening. Pizza will be served at 5. If you are able to sneak out of work a few minutes early to beat the traffic, we encourage you to do so…Jim Hyde will be here at 4 to meet and greet all of you! And if you have never gotten a behind-the-scenes tour of Bob’s BMW, Bob will be leading one at 4:30.

The show will begin at 6 and last about an hour getting you home at a relatively decent hour. In order to prepare for the evening if you can please RSVP online, I would greatly appreciate it. http://www.bobsbmw.com/community/evt...endar.html#jim

Looking forward to seeing everyone and hearing about the adventures enjoyed over this very mild winter we are coming out of!

Thanks!
Hanna

I think we have a winner. I'm also thinking of buying the materials to show the nephews how to make a long bow out of PVC piping, so they each have their own.

As for the bowie knives, they are rolled into the pointed weapons target. There are knives, hatchets, and two sizes of doubled bladed axes. You have to pick any two, and stick them from at least 10 ft. I personally do not like the knives, but LOVE throwing an axe.

You must have lived in NoVa at one time. I used to ride my bike thru Rock Creek park, on the way to the National Zoo.
