Be safe today guys, I wish I could go...I will be able to go soon!

Guy, how's your father in law doing? I'll keep him and your wife in my prayers.
Eddy, thanks for asking.

He did make it through Friday night, and my wife went back up there yesterday morning at 6:30. Of course, she's now dealing with the w/e staff at the hospital and having to work through all of that. They think his kidneys and other organs are shutting down and talking about hospice care at this point. She's looking into that now.

She's staying at my older daughter's again and will be back at the hospital tomorrow morning to consider their next move. She'll stay up there until whatever happens, or until she feels that her presence isn't immediately needed.

Unfortunately, very ominous signs...it won't be long. Sorry to hear this Guy.

God's country. You there or thinking about going there? Don't forget to grab a sticker that reads "I wasn't born in Texas but got here as fast as I could".

Sad news. Rick "PartyBoss" died this morning . He was in an accident a couple days ago.. You were a better person if you ever got to meet him.

I never had a chance to meet Rick. Sounds like an upstanding guy who will be dearly missed. Prayers for his family.

I did go looking for that church today. No joy. Did find all sorts of surfaces to wander though, for example:

Will definitely have to explore the area more.

Made it home ok. Dirtdoc, DDlewis and I wandered out west today and rode many a dirt road. Only had to pick up bikes twice and both incidents involved problems while stopping. Mine was actually while trying to dismount my bike. managed to not lift my leg high enough and managed to knock it over. DDlewis has photos. Roughest thing we did was ride up to the cell tower at alhambra. I'll post some pictures later.

Also, I must be really hard on Knobbies because I wore a good 1/3 or more off the knobs on my back tire today.

Sorry to hear of Party Boss' passing...he will be missed. We need to do something special in his honor at the BWDR CampOut.

Had a great time riding the roads and trails with Danny and Jeremy today. The best fun was Alambra and the water crossing on Shoe Creek.

Hate to hear that. God bless his family.

Guy sorry to hear about your fellow. There has been a lot of death this year it seems, I guess I'm just of that age now.

Went down to Southwest VA to take care of a tree that fell across one of my roads down on the farm. Virginia is showing off right now in redbuds, pears and some early apples. Early flowers are everywhere and willows are sprouting leaves about the size of a squirls ear. Very pretty.

Next time I'll take pictures. My son and his best friend rode their KLX 250's around the farm and on the fire road on Walker Mountain. I worked on my tree. Thanks goodness for John Deere and two stroke chainsaws.

Yeah guys, good time today. Except for when my bike was running like ass, it was excellent.

The 250 ran it's little legs off, collapsed and had to be put down. v/sad.

Called it a day after the KLR was so beat he decided to take a nap..... or two.
