Pretty cool that you know Ethan Becker and his wife! The man knows a thing or two about knives. His knives work and last. The little BK11 is a great, fixed blade pocket knife, for sure. I'd like to make a set of scales for it.

Ethan is indeed very cool. I have been to a couple hammer-in's where he ran a culinary cutting competition. Evil.

The blade is good. Roughly 2 1/2" in length, but quite thick and a full tang, sharp, seems to be holding an edge quite well despite heavy duty use opening letters and packages!

It's CPM154 @ 60rc. It'll take anything anyone would throw at a knife that size. (I've been trying to resist.)

The Essential EDC is also very interesting.

My ever-growing EDC collection:
Boker Plus - Anti-MC
CRKT - Delegate
Kershaw - Leek
SOG - Twitch II

These may have all been posted before, though I thought someone interested in this style of knife would appreciate a size comparison. I have had the SOG for years, but always wished it was a little larger. SOG makes a Twitch XL which I may check out in person, though the proportions just look a little strange to me.

I prefer the flipper which the Twitch and Leek have, though I might come around to the thumb knob eventually. The only non-assist blade is the Anti-MC, though it does get points for being different (ceramic).
