The swedge is something you can always have them add at the time it's built or you can send it back in and have it done at a later date.
I thought it looked like a Highland but wasn't sure. Nice knife!

Puke Nasty WASP Injection Knife

Check out http://www.waspknife.com/

I found it on CL here south of LA. Seems that it was used in some episodes of CSI:NY and NCIS:

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasp_knife

Interestingly, the logo was buffed off before it was used on camera.

I can vouch for the effectiveness of this tool. Had some friends over for a BBQ and demo of my new toy. Many cartridges were used (far from the BBQ)! Much fruit was 'blowed up' as well as some cuts of meat. That's entertainment!

Of note: Between the time I posted this yesterday and this morning, Wasp raised their prices $100. across the board! The power of advrider, or coincidence?! Hmmmm...

Ouch-
Compressed "free air" rapidly injected as a bolus into a chest/abdominal wall would be stop-in-your-tracks painful, and likey fatal (if not initially, would very likely induce secondary infection).

It's for a good cause, so I'd appreciate it if the mods left it alone...

This new Hoodlum is incredible. It is light, way lighter than i expected, but cuts and chops like a knife twice it's size, and weight. It is also very fast and easy to control. I would not want to be on the wrong end of this knife with someone who knows what they are doing on the other, even if I had a full size sword. It is easy to use even for common daily camp stuff too. So far I am super impressed. I might get another one for my 21yo son who loves blades.

BTW I stuck a multi tool in the pouch, and am going to stick a nice folder in a off board pouch and Mole it to the sheath. VERY functional as a ZK (Zombie Killer) as well as a every day brush and chopper/survival camp knife. So afr the best one I have ever seen.....for under 500 clams.

A shame you lost out on the signed one, but I prefer a user! My Emerson signed folder just sits in the back of my safe.

it was either pay over 400 for the signed one and keep it in the safe, or get this one from a guy I know who works for Buck for $130.00 and use it. I chose the later option! I have enough stuff in my safe I hesitate to use because it is NEW IN BOX from years ago, like my 1980 Buck 105, Pathfinder, and a couple NIB slip joints.

I like it. I love the spear point. Nice usable blade design.

I'm partial to the spearpoint, with only one edge sharpened. Wharny (SP???) is nice too.

I love the spearpoint,Clip, Warncliff, and drop point. But the Tanto is just not good for much other than stabbing.

Here's my resident pocket knife:
Benchmade Osborne 940

I don't collect (except for a bayonet to go with my Garand) but use. This is the nicest pocket knife I've had. Most expensive as well. I guess this is one case where you get what you pay for.
