It seriously cuts into your own toy buying, though. I end up either buying two of everything or doing the one for me, one for you, one for me, one for you thing. Luckily, he's getting old enough that he knows we just buy one for both of us now. Usually.

Funny you should mention that use! I bought a sextet of bowies for steak knives one year for a camping trip. Everyone loved them so much they kept them. Of course that was the original idea!

It was around 47.00 delivered. Not bad for a zombie knife. I had to work on the edge a little to get it to where I wanted it. The sheath is quite nice (as is typical of Condor). Blade thickness is 1/8".

I've also got a Combat Machete on order (looks like a small Roman Gladius), for about the same price I'll post up when I get it in.
