Some are, true. I mentioned my Spyderco Millie above - I love that knife for its utility, S30V blade, and it's a very lightweight design for a four-inch-blade folder.

I have only what I would call nice knives some that cost 50 dollars, some that cost many hundreds and I usuually carry one of any of them at any time....sometimes two or even three. Today of course I forgot to stick even my daily carry in the pocket and I noticed almost all the way to work. If it was less than 35 miles from work, I would have gone all the way home to get it as I feel totally undergunned without a knife even though I do have a full size 1911 on the hip.

You should have called. I'd have dropped off a loaner!

My question was more of a why do we have a "Got a nice knife" thread and a "Knife you carry thread:... Figured you must not be allowed to carry a nice knife

And it's ROGUE dammit

I did the same thing to my Pro-tech and was sick about it. The other day I went to favorite gun store and saw a sign for knife sharpening. I showed the knife to the tech and he said he would try to fix it. I'm thrilled that he did and it's never been so sharp. All I know is that he used a belt sander and did a great job.

I've had one of these for thirty years, they've quadrupled in price and added a goofy plate on the side. Not the best for knife making, but a pretty nice machine.

Forgive me if this is 205, but I don't see any mention of it. Bark River now has Goloks for sale again. I don't know how long they've been available, they weren't the last time I checked with them a couple of months ago, but I got their email flyer today and they had a bunch, so I've got one on order. Can't wait to see it. I'll post a couple of pics here when it arrives.
