They aren't THAT thick, but the are wide. They also aren't THAT heavy. BUT it isn't like carry of say a Kershaw leek!

Pretty much. I'm sure there's bigger, thicker, heavier knives out there, but I'd say this ranks pretty high.

But it's not so massive you couldn't fit it in a pocket, however, if it's a front pocket you might not be able to fit much else in there.

As far as blade swing, it's smooth an consistent, but a little bit too much drag.
