I don't get too fancy with knives, but apparently I have a fascination with them. Pitched a fit in a knife store when I was 9 or 10 about getting some survival knife. Parents for some reason wouldn't get it for me, so now since I've been able to, I pick up some at random. Finding ones I thought were cool....to be the most useless

Top one is a CRKT C/K dragon something or another. Waiting on a tek-lok belt clip so I can carry that one.
Next one is my Gerber Prodigy I use for camping related stuffs. I keep it in my camelbak when dirtbiking in the woods.
Followed by my Cold Steel Ti-Lite 6" with zytel handles. This gets used for opening mail. I've tried carrying it, but felt like a complete doofus with it in my pocket. I think I got it when I turned 18 or something. I lost the opening knub at some point, but the blade is weighted enough that with a quick flick of the wrist the blade will open up quite easily. You feel like a man opening envelopes with this one.
Last here I just picked up for cheap off of Amazon (10 or 12 bucks?). It has an assisted opening, and so far feels small enough for daily carrying. It's minimalist with no serration, liking how that's playing out so far.

I'm officially envious of that knife grinder. I recently watched that guys' promo videos demonstrating all the features. The "surface grinder" attachment looks pretty tasty.

I've been sketching plans for building my own double-wheel grinder.

Now that I have it, they've piled a ton of work on me, so no telling when I'll get to play with it.

The Kershaw RAM is a great EDC knife! I bought two and gave one to my youngest brother.

If I'm not mistaken, Kershaw discontinued these. A big mistake, as they are excellent.

Any suggestions for carrying a fixed blade daily and not looking like a goofball? I just can't sort a way to carry that CRKT.

The various "neck" knives would probably work.

Why would you want a fixed blade for EDC?

Scout style works for me. Not the best for sitting in a chair though. Shirt untucked or jacket & no one is the wiser.

Because they're better knives. I EDC a Bark River knife of some fashion all the time. At the (business casual) office I slip a Blackjack (made by BR) necker in that long skinny right leg pocket of my carpenters pants. Outside of work, a Mini Fox River or Northstar Companion on the belt is pretty unobtrusive, even with a tucked shirt. Untucked, a Gunny, Bravo 1, or even a Special Hunter or Gameskeeper 2 works.

Always accompanied by a SAK in my pocket, of course.

I attempted that way with the CRKT, but I think the Tek-Lok clip I got for it, it just stuck out slightly too far. I'll have to toy around with things a bit more. I'm thinking no matter what if I'm wearing a more fitted shirt, there's gonna be a knife bulge on my back.

Clip & Sheath setup:
