Interesting filework on the back of the one your brother made. A better picture would be cool

New hunting knife showed up this weekend:
Buck Ergohunter Pro Knife with Guthook Ring Good, solid knife. Sits well in my hand. Definitely for right-handers though.

So, how do you prepare an Ergo when you hunt one? Do they taste like chicken?

I no longer hunt Ergo. They taste GAMEY if you don't cut off their Nomics first......Plus, the Ergo Bucks are sharp and hard to hunt......

Trying to fill an order... customer wants an old Roman Parazonium* and I'm working on the replica. The wax handle you see will soon be cast in bronze.
Original, London Museum: ![]() Mine, wax handle laid on top (fitting to be done tonight): ![]() * there are dozens of unique Parazonium forms, the main thing being the Eagle decoration. Some were larger, but the basic definition comes down to "triangular dagger with an eagle motif", of which this particular example follows. Customer wanted this one made, so this is the one I'm making.

My buddy Westy and I processed some cherry for smoking the other night. He used a Bark River Bowie, hidden tang and very swedged blade (everybody knows you can't baton that!
) while I used my BR Ice-In knife I made this past February. Great fun.
