This was a custom commission with Mr A.T. Barr a few years back. When I received the knife, I sent it to Mr Adone Pozzobon for engraving:

Milwaukee Tool promotionals

Anybody know who makes these for Milwaukee? They appear to be well made.

They look nice. I have a whole mess of Spydercos, but have never used a Civilian. What is that blade shape best suited for? I think they market them for personal defense.

Yes, there are two Civilians and a Matriarch in that photo (no one was supposed to know brace means pair though)

They were designed as a last ditch weapon for Law Enforcement. Nasty stuff

Cool - I have a couple of Dodo's that have a short, stout hawkbill blade that I find quite handy as a tool....but way too short to be very dangerous.. I suppose these long hawkbills would be good slasshers.

All the pictures of Balisongs make me mad - those knives are totally banned in Germany because they are allegedly "too dangerous". Politicians are bloody idiots, apart from a Swis Army Knife there is probably no type of knife less suited to fighting than a Balisong.

They're illegal here too.
"Any knife that opens by spring, lever or centrifugal force...." Falls into the same category as a machine gun here.

I also have an orange handled Dodo that I've not got around to photographing yet. I was eyeing the new CF one but I'm getting sick of black handled knives. My wife carries a serrated Cricket as her EDC.

Amazon had (maybe has?) $15 off $50 on Kershaws, so I blew my fixed blade budget on a Ken Onion Tactical Blur. Money well spent, high time I have a decent folder. An absolute steal at $35 IMHO.

Finished my Parazonium in the nick of time.

Original:

My attempt at re-creation. I flipped the aging, it's an inverse of the original, whose blade was all but gone, but the grip is near pristine. My blade is fantastic, and the grip looks beat up and old. To make both in really good shape would miss the sense of antiquity that was desired by the client.
