Yep,that's Blaine...no time for fools. I live a stone's throw away from his shop, and I went by the other day to see if he had a tire in stock for one of my bikes. There was a sign on the door that said the business was sold and to go to Arizona Honda on the other side of town(it's one of the Honda "power" dealers, or whatever the corporate hype is).

Sad to see him go. It was great having a place right around the corner where I could drop off a wheel and have a new tire put on for a good price. There's a new place down the street from him near I-10 though that's only $4 more for the same tire. I hope the service is just as good.

The doods at On Any Moto seem to be good to know. Was over there a few weeks ago. One of em was Blaine's former employee.

I need some TKCs for the big pig. Hafta head on down soon.

It was a sketchy response to get from any merchant, but with those prices and delivery speed, I can be bought

I hope the new owners will carry on the pricing. I can't get TKC 80's or Pirelli Scorps that cheap anywhere.

Stopped by On Any Moto today for a new tire, but they were closed(Sunday and Monday). When I was there last week they ordered the tire and didn't even ask for a deposit or phone number.

In the case at hand, it would have been SO EASY for Blaine to be civil, friendly and even funny .... but NOT at the customers expense.
The guy was just plain wrong.
As I said, some customers will NEVER be satisfied. Look at all the responses here standing up for SWMoto and his great service, sense of humor and outstanding prices. Good service will outshine any asshat that thinks he can ruin your rep. My sales numbers and peace of mind went thru the roof when I adopted the "show 'em the door" policy. Sales literally doubled and returns went to nil. YMMV, but I'll stick to my guns.

Went to On Any Moto for new TKCs and mounting. $15 per mounting and balancing. Same prices as 'across the street' for the tires. I'm a happy camper.

Give em a shot if yer local. I don't know about shipping, etc. ala SWMototires tho.
