Church lets out at 1000. Don't plan around my time constraints, however, as I might not be master of my schedule tomorrow - Team Pink may come up with a claim to my time.... if I can (and want to) join tomorrow, I will. If I can't (or want to go elsewhere) => I won't. Keeps it simple.

BMWMCHR Ride

Hey all,
If you wish to join us. The BMWMCHR Club will be conducting a ride tomorrow. Our Meeting place is at
The Golden Corral
2324 Chesapeake Square Ring Road
Chesapeake, VA

We have a meeting at 900 am. I would expect the ride to begin between 930 and 945.

Below is a link of the planned route.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...460937&t=h&z=9

Come on out and meet some new riders and be back in plenty of time for the Super Bowl.

Thanks....

Will I be beaten for my non-bavarian scooter?

It's an option, but myself personally have done this exact route about 12 times and since I am on leave I am planning on going a little farther outside the area. Thinking of a back roads route to Petersburg for lunch, check out the Battlefield driving tour and back home on the slab.

Will keep it in mind though in case I get to lazy tonight to actually plot a route out. I did pick up a new Delorme Atlas today though It's sweet and makes me drool to get out about 300-400 miles west of here.

No Beatings provided for non BEEMER riders. All are welcome. I have been trying to get the word out. A few of the ADV crowd were members previously. Even if they don't come back. Would love to have some fresh faces and Scoots around.

No worries here mate. Looks like you'll have a new pad to cure the Sore Butt! Nice purchase. Great price.

Hope to see ya. If not, I'll be witching. Want to get together with you and the fellas for another ride.

Cheers!

If you guys are planning on hitting Petersburg tomorrow check out the Richmond Commuter tag. I just placed it :) Not too awful far from Petersburg.

Right on

That new pad may be the ticket to my 1000 miles in 24 hours attempt coming on one of these weekends. From the Oceanfront BP Gas station to Tybee Island, GA and back. Total of 1032 miles. Thinking I want one of those Iron Butt License Plate brackets and a Sticker!!

Maybe we could coordinate a ride around B.E. Coyote's ever growing Movie Night on the 21st of Feb. I hope to be back in town the night before.

We'll keep an eye out. Tybee is beautiful. If i went that far i would have to stop and see the sister. She'd kill me if i didn't.

Good luck with that run. Keep us in the know.

Here is what I am thinking in my hat rack. I plan to meet up with the BMWMCHR in Chesapeake at 0900 and ride with that group out towards the Ferry Crossing, but break off from them on Route 10 around California Crossroads. Then back road it south, come back up Northwesterly to Petersburg Battlefield, Lunch, then Northeasterly to Benjy Harrison Bridge across the James, Route 5 down to the Ferry back across the James, then high tail it home, for Pre-game. The BMWMCHR ride is fine one to do, but for me....it's been there done that and I want to see something I haven't seen before.

Now I have wrote all this, but have not opened Mapsource yet nor made a single Waypoint...... I have it penciled on paper, but have alot of work to do tomorrow morning.....tonight is quality family time.....playing Wii Rockband

Muster time and place for the BMWMCHR is a couple post north of this one.

Sound like a plan?????

Not an issue Brian, hand singles at speed worked last time and the GPS has all the fuel stops plugged in from here to Alaska.

Want to meet up at the Service Station right off of Newtown exit again?? Say 8ish???
