How about trails up on the peninsula? I have been to Slades before and had fun but am looking for a spot that is fairly close and legal to ride on. I am sure there is someplace up by the Williamsburg area that would be fun. I just don't know anyone who rides bikes around here and need to find some fun spots. I'm in Newport News and never get to ride off road anymore.

i'm in newport news too and there really isn't a whole lot up here except for tidewater dirt riders (tdr) who have land in surry and close to williamsburg but that requires a year membership.

me and some of the mad moose crew are heading down to busco in NC this weekend and the following if you're up for camping and riding both saturday and sunday! got room in my truck and trailer for 1 more.

Product review: Giant Loop Mojave bag $220 on eBay.

This is for all the bikes with weak or no sub frames. After buying the CRF I was challenged with how to pack some decent weight on it. Ive seen pics of these bags but it wasnt until Jworth told me the name that I was able to find one. Received this in the mail the other day and I could not be happier. Installs in minutes with no hardware needed and fits like a glove. Super high quality water proof material. 10 out of 10 in my opinion.

Anyone doing any rides today? I need to put some miles on my new cylinder but feel paranoid going out too far alone. One thing I have noticed since I got it back on the road is that my ears turn into super sensitive listening devices and they hear every little noise which my brain then overreacts to it and thinks my bike is exploding. I need to learn to deal with noises on a KLR, they will happen. I will probably be going out on the peninsula in a little while a see where I end up.
