I just popped a new landing light into my 150 tonight, only to find the front tire low. Looks like it's time to take it off and look for leaks.

I played the step n fetchit man, bucking bar operator, picture documentor, and airport bum, while my partner in crime did the sheetmetal work...
I enjoy just about anything when it comes to aircraft, and being an airport bum... It's just a hobby...

I'm sure a teardown may be required as previously mentioned, but I don't beleive it was done on this aircraft...
Different parts of the project were done and inspected by various people...
I do know it got a brand new prop, and maybe a mic on the crankshaft, but to my knowledge, it wasn't torn down...

Our job was strictly sheet metal...

wind storm damages 22 aircraft in Ottawa

A sudden windstorm which might have been a microburst or huricane damaged 22 private planes that had gathered for an annual fly-in dinner event. Lots of expensive bent aluminum here...

Bravo or Ultra? I can't make it out quite clearly. Either way; I can count 6 P/N's I had some hands on. In 15 years, there isn't a plane they've made in the last 20 I haven't made parts for. Or helped in some desk-jockey way.
Pity it all comes to an end tomorrow. I'm out with another 2800 this week. That'll make 6,800 let go since January.
