The F-22's started flying again this week. I guess they solved the oxygen supply problem.

I didn't realize they composed such a large amount of our aerial forces.

They aren't on the carriers are they?


So they are building a total of 187 F-22's That seems awful low. Course they are damned expensive!

I knew they weren't making very many, but if that article is right, then I'm a little worried that e only have about 400-500 fighters for this country.

With what I've heard and seen of the Raptor. You don't really need to many. Until someone out there manages to build something that can stand up against that kind of system. Keep the tools and equipment off to the side just in case. But right now....even 100 is more than enough.

We have over 1000 F-16s in active inventory. About 500 F-15s and about 600 F-18s.

We're doing ok.

Supposedly the new Chinese one was designed specifically to combat the F22, but lacks some things like super cruise.
