A British pilot in a Dragon Air A330 was 1000 feet below me when he took this picture. He was kind enough to email it to me. We had just crossed into China at the time.

It's a King Air B200. When it is that cold, it shoots a little flame mid start, and is nothing really, but it made for a great picture.

That is in degrees C (anadian). -22 F (ing US are the only one's still using it).

My home made turbine engine did that a few times, but I saw sparks flying out of the exhaust pipe. The turbine wheel disintegrated...

Yeah, I know what you mean about metric. Who knows if and when we'll convert...
