I think her ankle is just turned inward at an odd angle, and the ankle is hidden by her foot. I'll continue to study the pic in detail and let you know what else I discover.

And I don't know how many guys here own hangars, but they just installed this in one of ours...a ceiling fan with a 24 foot diameter. The company is Big Ass Fans. Maybe this belongs in the thread of awesome...

They have some of those fans in the outdoor garden section at the local WalMart...they move quite a bit of air!

We've got 3 of them.

Keep an eye on the blade to hubdrive brackets, all of ours developed stress cracks after a year.

They came and fixed 'em under warranty though.

These are pics of the 20 101 and 82nd airborne pathfinder units that led the Normandy invasion. Pics of each plane with crew and unit. The were first in and set up radio and spotlight markers for the rest of the airborne.

..and yet another demonstration that even slight alterations to the lines of the original P-51 produce a totally different aesthetic. That cowling and canopy are...well...fugly, and the seating position seems high and forward relative to the original.
