I'd guess a C-5, given the number of landing gear sensors and the "kneeling mode"...

It is from a C-5. They haven't been in use in years, and only within the last year have they begun to remove them from the A-models. This particular one is on the cargo load trainer that was put together from a C-5 in the boneyard.

The public affairs folks have been getting an earful all day.

That article is a good example of why you should never believe anything the media reports these days.

Nope. It surpassed the F-14 on my list of favorite fighters. Interesting tidbit, I have an aunt and uncle who are both engineers who worked in Marietta on the F-22 project. Back in the late 90s I got some pretty cool company handouts and photos of the F-22 through them. It may have even still been called the YF-22 at that point.
