Stunning air to air video. There's even an F4 (Turkish Air Force).

Indeed, including my last flight as a C-130 Nav, where we flew home from Las Vegas (to Nashville) passing through the Grand Canyon, below the rim.....

I was in the back of an AC-130A gunship in 1970...

Looks like a lot of Boeing flying. Moses Lake in the beginning, Boeing Field at the end and Puget Sound in between.

My grandfather's sailing club built a pioneer. We had the fuselage mold in the shed for as long as I can remember. One of the key members "Shorty" died before they finished it. The club flew it a few times and sold it. One of the last times the old couts were ever together. My dad eventually chopped up the mold and made a cockpit for his lazair out of it.

MAFFS drop on the Rim fire

Watch it full screen and see if you can track the lead plane. Good audio of the radio chatter.

Very cool video. I usually only get to see the action from the ground. The retardant that looks all misty from a distance will knock you on your butt if you're in the drop zone.

Hey - that's a friendly!

The CAF Airpower B29 (Fifi) and B24 (Diamond Lil) were in town and local CAF put on a good show. My grandfather was a ball turret gunner on a B24; thought it was fitting for me to hop in one. They wouldn't allow any stick, err yoke time; fun nonetheless.

How did I get in there?? Easy; money
