It does open up a lot of landing sites that would otherwise be inaccessible, or too rugged for takeoff.

We had the coolest cloud layer today. Maybe 100 ft thick with nice big holes to climb and drop through while maintaining legal clearance. The perfect VFR on top day. A little chilly in the Cub but tolerable with gloves and a hat.

You're correct, and that is the actual plane in your video which I shot.

The SkyRunner seems dumb to me. $118k and it is only a single-seater; no passenger. Also it weights almost 1000 lbs! Take-off speed of 37 mph is really high as well so forget about taking off on rugged or small spaces. I have zero confidence in a paragliding wing supporting that much weight and at those speeds (50+ mph).

High wing airplane, visibility was good towards the other plane. The pilot from the high plane won't be flying in this country any time soon.

Speaking of stupid stuff... I only have 13 hours flying, but man I've seen some stupid maneuvers at our local uncontrolled airport. People just not looking out the windows at what others are doing, expecting everyone else to look out for them and get out of their way. Last week, we have just taken off, are still on departure, maybe 100' off the ground in a bright yellow Cub, we see some idiot that turns from base to final right at us. We veer to our right the best we can, and they just continue on final and land. I bet a go around didn't ever cross their minds.
