That is not a BA A340. They do not have any 340s in the fleet. I should know as I work for them as an Engineer, only Airbus BA have are the A318, A319,A320 and A321 . They have got the new A380 on order , but delivery is several years away.

I think you will find the one in the picture belongs to Etihad, an airline based in the UAE.

You are probably right. It was parked in between some BA aircraft so I just assumed it was BA also.
