"Hey Okies! I have a V-Strom 1000, and am considering selling it and buying a Wee, since I use it as a commuter 96% of my miles I'd like to have the range and mpg. The thing is I haven't ridden one and am afraid I might not like the lack of power. BUT then again it's a commuter, not a track bike.

Long story short, do any of you guys have a Wee in Oklahoma that you'd let a cautious, experienced, and insured guy take a test ride on. I'd be willing to rent it for a couple of hours, or buy you lunch, or something like that, AND if you've ever wanted to ride a Vee you're welcome to ride mine! Let me know"

Ya...that 1000 is kind of a girly bike.

T-Towners:

My sister has asked me to solicit as many people as I can think of to help her out with a birthday surprise for my brother-in-law. He plays in a men's hockey league and the games are generally not well-attended by fans/spectators. She wants to pack the bleachers for his team this weekend.

They have a game this Sunday, April 29th at 6:15pm the Oilers Ice Center at 6413 S. Mingo

Free to enter. There is a refreshments stand (no beer

).

If anyone would be willing to join me, I'd appreciate it. If the weather is nice, we could always do a pre-ride.

Crap. We closed the research center early and I now have the weekend off. Wish I had prepped the bike already.

It'll be on May 12th - starting at 8pm

SonRise Night Trial - May 12
-Gates open at noon.
-Lots of nice campsites with gravel pads. (no hook ups)
-sign in at 7pm
-mexican feast at 7pm

Area has been expanded from 1 acre (last year) to 15 acres this year!!
