There are worse fetishes to have.
I for one would want any and all who want to ride to be at the parade. ADVRider is a diverse group and an ADVRider parade group should be too. Muddy dual-sports, dusty adventure tourers and bright clean sport bikes and crusiers all in one group would look good to me. Guy |

Hah! No pop fetish I just really dig oddball on the road stuff. Especially "biggest in the world" crap. If am out riding and find some biggest in the world things yeah I'm going. I'll catch up later. My big things photo's are sorely lacking at this point though. :sad
BIGGEST CHIMES IN THE DAMN WORLD! I have a really big Indian picture too but have to find it. Need more big things pictures dammit. Oh and I got the ORU hands and the driller guy too. edit: Yes I gonged the chimes! |

Anyone interested in a photo tag? Either Okla and or Gulf states?
I have one on "Ride Oklahoma" but I lose my patience waiting on next tag.

Silver,
I been wanting to do a night on either the buffalo or the white river, or perhaps both. I know that area pretty well. I got some buds from the FZ1 forum that get together at Eurika Springs a couple of times a year, you would be more than welcome. I will let you know when the spring ride is planned. So give me a holler and we can head over for either a one or two day ride. For starters though we may do a northeastern Oklahoma ride, I been wanting to go to that place in Miami that has the old bikes. The last time I was up that way was around 1985, rode dirt bikes up on the chat piles. In Arkansas, I like 123 and 341. Also we can take the ferry over to Mizz. on 125. I know a great stretch up there. I am also interested in the area south of I-40, I havent been down that way much, mostly just the far west part of the state. ie west of mena. |

Right on. Definitely in for 123/341/125, all great roads. Talimena is nice but the rangers up there will give you a hard time and tell you that the cautionary speed limit corner signs are the actual speed limits. A direct quote from the dude was "I KNOW YOU WERE SPEEDING BECAUSE OF YOUR CHICKEN STRIPES" which was said to a friend. Hehe. It is some great riding/scenery though.
I'll know more closer to spring. I know the first good 70 degree weekend we are talking about camping at wolf pen for fri/sat/sun. Leave Tulsa about lunch on Friday and go straight there, camp, ride all day sat, camp, come home sun. We'll line it out as it gets closer. I'd like to check out that Miama place you were talking about too. edit: Ah also I know most of the roads in the NE part of OK. Spavinaw/new road/new wma, all that good stuff. |
