Been riding to work daily. Turns out my fingers start to freeze after 5 minutes at 10 degrees F. By 10 minutes, they're numb so I'm back in business!

Actually, those heated grips are looking better and better... I'll have to get some on there before next winter.

I'd like to ride to work too,it would sure save gas money and miles on the truck. I just can't find a heavy enough hitch to pull the enclosed trailer I use to work out of.

My hands were cold in about 15 min. with heated grips and rev'it Fahrenheit gloves.

I added MSR's hand D deflectors they block the wind great, before I got the exo2 gloves.

Any dates or location on our BS/tech day? I'm hoping to get my fork seals and boots this week and get them changed over the weekend. But that still leaves valve adjustment or something on KLR.

Or I could bring the DRZ and we could all scratch our heads.

If we end up drinking a bunch of beer then I may need a place to set up a cot. And I will need a cot to set up.

BTW all the beer drinking comments that have been made about me are are making me look bad

platter turned me on to these..

http://www.rockymountainatv.com/prod...FamilyId=15583

these along with my heated grips keep my hands toasty warm down into the 20's, and thats wearing my thinner gloves.

my hands would freeze even with heated grips before, after adding the tusk covers, my grips got so hot...i had to turn em down, never had to turn em down before. and a bargain at $15. and not nearly as big as hippo hands.

You never mentioned if the valves were in spec. I've seen where some bikes are really hard to start when cold if the valves were even a little tight. Just throwing that out there.

Those look much more reasonable than the Hippo hands, not to mention more affordable. Do they fit over the stock brush guards or just over the levers?

Just curious. I might have to order a set of those real soon. Thanks for the tip.

Clogged jet, happens to all drzs if they sit more than a week without being started. Mine does the same thing, simple to fix. Keep Stabil in your gas all the time and it wont do it as often.....
