Nope, no snow tires. Tire chains instead! They make for better destruction of the under fenders when the chains come loose! lol

And I'm still working on a toy for the dirt... possibly that '91 XL250. Should know more by week's end

Thanks, and I know... about 7 hours one way from here in Bedford. It was the closest I could find without an astronomical price tag attached to it. It was a trade in at a H/D dealer and they couldn't put it on thier showroom floor. I guess they are scared of quality seeping out of the Yamaha and gettin' all over thier shiny, chromed bikes or sumthin'. I dunno...

I sure would have if I didn't have my sumo wheels on right now. I wanted to BAD!! Instead I took a drive over to my buddy's shop to see his new bike. Being from upstate NY, I thought surely he would be there with the parking lot plowed out.......

Lightweight!

Now I'll be awhile getting it trimmed out to fit me. Pull backs & risers for the bars, bigger windshield, dropped suspension (1 or 2 inch) front & rear so I can touch the ground will be for starters, for sure
my son has one... bought off an old man and ridden gently... 2 years and nine thousand miles later .... good bike his has a jet kit and a slip on...

We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating; the GS handles in ways a two-story building was never meant to.

Taking collections for Faye Butler Training please spare some change.

Remember red and yellow make orange.so to think orange is better means you have to use two steps to get there.

Sorry man.. school & daycare both closed today and we didn't find out until 6:30 this AM. Had no choice but to hang out & play hookey with the kids today. Lookin' at the weather channel, tomorrow may be a wash as well.

I am south of you guys but lurk here looking for good places to ride. I got out for two laps around the block. Very slick on the street but in the grass it was fun. Two dumps later I rolled it back in the garage. Cold and rainy on top of the snow now.

Hiya Jon. (you nut ) Louisville's not too far away. Looks like we're going to have some pretty huge group rides come summer.

Does a 3 wheeler count?

Almost. Rode my 3 wheeler around the yard and neighborhood pulling the kids on a sled this evening. Does that count? It's kinda old-skool, that ought to be worth something.

TooSlow, the FZ1 is one of the few sportbikes that I have ever thought would be halway comfortable to ride for more than 30 minutes. I have friends that have had sportbikes and although they were fun to ride I always felt like a monkey f@#%ing a football on one.

Congrats on the new ride.
