i know these last 2 videos are not working yet, they have uploaded fine, but youtube has not processed them yet. when they get em processed they should work.

i am outta time.... so it is what it is.

the last one is of the night shoot and we were bout mid pack, they started shootin and blew up all the barrels of diesel fuel before i could get camera out.

if i was thinking i should have given camera to alex, he wound up in front row every time.

did i mention how crowded it was there...... buncha red necks..

Bout 13 years ago I started going down there. Went both times a year, every year. They didn't even really advertise it much. I quit going a few years ago when it got so crowded and expensive (and I got married and had a couple kids and went broke).
Used to go just for the camping till some peckerhead set the field on fire with parachute flares. Woke up to the mini-guns firing every morning!

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

Just wondering if anyone from here was planning on riding over check this out this year? I haven't been there since about 2001 or so. The vendors alone are absolutely mind boggling, not to mention all of the other stuff going on there that whole weekend. Who's up for a ride? You can primitive camp there on the grounds and showers were available last I knew...

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) has announced that the 2009 edition of AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days will take place July 24-26, at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days has grown to become America’s grandest celebration of motorcycling heritage, and features numerous activities inspired by all eras. The weekend is loaded with highlights, including the world's largest motorcycle swap meet, where collectors from throughout North America spread out over 35 acres to sell everything from fork boots to books to complete bikes. Also on tap are demo rides of current production bikes, motorcycling seminars, bike shows, stunt shows, the new product Manufacturers' Midway, club corrals that feature both marque and regional clubs, and guided rides through the rolling Ohio countryside.
In addition, the weekend is scheduled to feature a full slate of American Historic Motorcycle Racing Association competition, including road racing, motocross, observed trials, cross country and dirt track for both vintage and post-vintage motorcycles.
All proceeds from AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days benefit the AMA's Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum in nearby Pickerington, Ohio.
2009 marks the 18th year of AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days and the event's 15th year at the world-class complex of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. In 2008, nearly 70,000 attendees converged on Mid-Ohio for the mid-summer extravaganza, which featured Triumph as the Marque of the Year, and AMA racing legends Bill Baird and Gene Romero as co-Grand Marshals.
Tickets for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days 2009 will become available from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course beginning on Nov. 30, 2008, at www.midohio.com or by phone at (800) MID-OHIO.
More announcements regarding the details of 2009 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days will be made soon, including the Marque of the Year, the Grand Marshal honoree and additional activities and exhibitions.

Just checking in. Not much to see in my neighborhood, but you guys seem to have found some interesting corners of the state.

We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating; the GS handles in ways a two-story building was never meant to.

Taking collections for Faye Butler Training please spare some change.

Remember red and yellow make orange.so to think orange is better means you have to use two steps to get there.

Southeast of Indy off of I-74. Right between Indy and Cincy. Home of the new Honda plant and millions of acres of corn and soybeans.
