I went over there today from West Columbia to check out the trails. There were only a couple other people out there. The trails are deep, pure beach-like sand. This is why they call this area the "sand hills" I guess.

The trails themselves are pretty clear of branches and other obstacles, and are decently wide, but again they are deep deep sand. Which is not my favorite!
