Can pirates play, arrrgh Duck River Dam site
.

I remember when I was in the sport of kayaking/canoeing many years back this dam was just a rumor. The worry was that it was going to affect the flow of the Warrior River, either the Locust Fork or Mulberry, can't remember which. Back then it would have mattered to me, not not so much, times change. I do hope this does not affect the white water paddlers too much because the Warrior was the only local option for whitewater winter paddling. Of course summer meant driving to TN/NC for white water. Kinda glad I discovered cycles.

Same location, Al just rode up on the grass and took the pic from about 10 feet.

Good thing I checked the thread one more time. I had my gear on and was heading out the door. Only to find I had been bruced.

Serving up another for the Goodwins/Yankeedog or maybe another ADV lurker out there. Great day for scoot'n! I found many good locations and hard to decide on the real tag.

I really liked this one, but its on private property and easy enough, but

Another decent one

Alright guess I will go with this one since it involves some gravel, sand and mud and water if you dare
NEW TAG is

To get there just go to the end of the road

This road, the Old one.

One last pic and plug for a fledgling business in Cullman on Hwy 278. Now that you see how much fun scooters can be you need to go get you one. Legacy Powersports is the newest distributor for Kymco in the area. Kymco is a very well respected Taiwanese brand scooter (not made in China). The owner seemed like a genuinely nice guy, but I could tell he is really hurting for business. Scooters are a hard sell anywhere and Cullman may not be a good spot for him. He also sells the Kymco ATVs which I have never really studied, but the scooters are top rated. I have no affiliation with Kymco or the owner just hate to seem him struggle.
