I checked the site they have and see it is mostly based in Europe.... do you know if other maps from NA will work on this system??? what about MapSource etc... I don't know a lot yet on GPS but have narrowed my search down to the Garmin 276 or the 450 Oregon... how do you think this unit compares.... other than the big Euro price it looks like for about $1,000US or so...? Thanks in advance if you can help me and for the intro to TwoNav. Dean

GARMIN 660...reviews?
I am on the market for a GPS and have my eyes on the Garmin 660. It is alot of coin ($1000 CDN) so i am wondering if anyone out there has one and would recommend this unit.
As well, would you go with the mounting hardware that comes with it or go with the Touratech aluminium bracket ($250 CDN). it looks nice and is lockable which seems like a nice feature. I am wondering how the XM radio would work with a blue tooth headset communicator? It would be nice to have some music but still be able to communicate. you feedback would be very helpful as usual...

I have one, had it a while now, love it.
It took me from home base, through Slovenia, Croatia etc to Greece, and then back through Italy and all points in between. I bought a 4gb card for it and stuffed it full of MP3s, attached a hardwired set of headphones to it and happiness is.... As I'm an experienced idiot I had it installed, by my local garage, using the supplied kit. After checking on the zumo forum I had it wired direct to the battery for ease of use. Check out zumoforums (someone else linked it) for a lot of useful information ![]() ![]() Now..mapsource...the software that you install on your PC...that's a whole other topic..
