Map E32 worth it
Looking at taking a trip south of the border in a couple of months.
I have a Montana 600 GPS. Will I get all roads available, is it easy to use, are there any other options I should be looking at, Or if I simple download the birdseye imagery, would that give me a cheaper solution and easier useage?

E32

If you're not familiar with topo maps, you may find E32 and Bicimapas a little confusing with all the topo lines. I've read good stuff about LB Maps. Cheap but does not auto route. There's lots of debate and opinion out there as to which map is best..... search around a bit and read others input. I personally like the E32 map best.

I will be doing alot of off-roading.
I can deal with all the lines of a topo map, but can I get away with just down loading birds eye imagery. Thanks for your help.

I have used E32 for a couple of trips and liked it.
On my last trip however I screwed up the down load. At home my 62st appeared to have the map installed correctly. But once I was south of the border it was as if I was missing layers of detail for most of the country. When I got home I found that if I installed the map to the micro sd instead of the internal memory it downloaded fine. |

Bottom line for me is that mexico topo maps work for me and I've always found what I'm looking for and how to get there. I think the key words here are the ability to navigate. Just my 2 cents worth.
