We go almost every weekend. No single track, mostly gravel roads and double track. Depending on who is coming (bikewise and skill wise) the trip gets planned accordingly.
No charge, really just a bunch of people looking to have someone to ride with.
Send your email address to get on the distribution list, come one weekend or every weekend, choice is yours.

I look forward to meeting like minded spirits , May long is kick off weekend!
Id be up for may long weekend. If you dont mind a poser on KLR and not a beemer.

Looks like an awesome route! I've bookmarked this so as to ride it later in the year. Google Maps says it a 5+ hour ride...how long did it take you?

Thanks for the links. The entrance/exit point I have seen used is the western edge of the frontage on Hwy 49 (near the house with the rock fence).

I always thought this is where the UFO landed but later heard that was down on Corkery road I think. Seriously........well at least in that someone reported it and it was videotaped.

Nice route, will need to load that on my GPS. Gonna have to take my big GS on that. I have street tires on her but she needs to get a little dirty soon. Heading out to Calabogie and back tomorrow with a Harley friend so no dirt then. I helped him add a whack of chrome and he won't have enough time to polish before work on Tuesday

Ya, it took about that. On bike needed some tlc after getting layed down on some snow ( many of the back roads still had 80% snow cover ).

We changed it up on the fly to accommodate the snow, but still stayed in the same area and did a southern bit of the K&P up to FlowerStation

cheers

Did the K&P from lavant to the top, it was a tough go on the anakee's.
Two bikes 650 xcountry and my f800gs was a good ride thought.

I remember a grade school field trip that I'm sure we were both on, dialdn, where the teacher pointed out some exposed limestone and said that it was a UFO landing strip. That field trip was out near the Jack Pine trails about 30-some years ago...

I finally got my first ride in yesterday. first of the season plus first with the Hattech exhaust, first with the Lazer chip, first with TKC 80's and first with Airsoft pellets in the tires instead of Dynabeads.

Everything worked out great.

It was a beautiful day for a ride so I took the old road along the Ottawa River through Treadwell and Lefaivre to L'Orignal and Hawkesbury. Tim's for lunch and then into Quebec, up the Rouge River road and Maskinonge River road to Boileau. Lots of water in the rivers and the rapids are flowing big time. Then some more gravel up to Huberdeau and Arundel. Time to head back so it's more time for more gravel. I pass a lot of washout areas on the roads and stop at a barricade that says 'route ferme' What the hell I can always turn around. The road is ok but you can see a lot of places where the water was over the road recently and left large sandy deposits. Wood posts with red flags are here and there all along the road showing washout and caved in sections but I'm through no problem. Pass the budhist monastery with their huge brightly painted religous statues. Gas in Kilmar and head back towards home. The good sections of Kilmar road were fun and the knobbies seem to stick just fine. Saw about 10 deer and a few dead racoons. Next time I need to remember the camera.

All in all a great 4-5 hour ride
