You're back? Great!

I might have found an interesting prospect: It's a 2002 (damn, not the slightly-improved 2003 model) 640 Adv, nicely farkled: aluminum side cases, GPS rack, Triptick rollchart holder, Ackropovic carbon/titanium can, second set of rims (Excel), couple of milk crates worth of parts and consumables... It has 30k km on the odometer but I have no idea, at this point, if it was babied or not, serviced well or not. Things like that have to be checked in person, methinks.

And, yes, I've read Creeper's post about what to look at when buying a used LC4. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=181591

Probably worth driving somewhere deep in the 581 area code to check it out.... Seller's asking $3,500.

TDY Said this:

BMA's annual dual-sport gathering

Just as in the past two years, we would like to have a get-together of dual sport riders on Tuesday, April 24 at the Cock 'n Bull Pub and Eatery located at 3791 Richmond Rd., Nepean.

We have booked the tables for 5:30 p.m. so that people can come over after work to have some dinner and a visit. We will have a brief meeting at 7 to introduce each other, share information as to upcoming dual sport events and riding areas.
Hope you can join us!

BMA or OFTR membership not required, but we may encourage you to join

RSVP via PM or email please. We'd like to match the restaurant reservation to the number of attendees.

I dunno... I'm hoping to be there, however.

I'm twisting Hosebag's arm.

Riding QC

Hey,

On the Quebec side along Highway 50 there's trails you can see from the road. Does anyone know much about those? Is it good riding? Trail passes/permits? Anything special?

It looks like somewhere close that I could go for a rip after work without having to do an hour on the roads first.

Thanks,

- Quantis
