This is THE bike that won the Houston Astrodome race with Mike Gerald on board in 1974. It has lived for many years in Tucson and was restored to original about 3 years ago. Check out the left to right shifter linkage.

I have a 1977 XL 350. I need to go through the carburetor. Looking for a place to buy a repair kit if there is such a thing. Any suggestions as to what to look for, common issues etc. will be appreciated.

TIA

You need a Keyster Carburetor Rebuild Kit. Replaces the main, pilot, float and needle jets, gaskets, o-rings and airscrew. I'm not sure there is one for a '77 though. Try http://www.siriusconinc.com and see if they have one. If not you can get some, most or all of the individual parts from either http://cmsnl.com http://sudco.com or http://www.jetsrus.com

Does anyone have a spare, functional exhaust system for an '80 XL125? Mine is completely shot.

Pretty sure the two frames are different - the SL is twin downtube and XL is single. The exhaust may not fit because the downtube is in the way. XL is an up-pipe and SL is down pipe.
