Those tires look like just what I want on MY XL185S. And that rack.... was it on it when you bought it?!? If anyone here has a rack like that for sale that will fit my XL185S, please PM me!

yea these are the Kenda K761's. fronts are 90/90-21, rear is 110/80-18 just finished up about a hour ago getting them on and balanced. they ride really smooth but i need to put at least 100 miles on them to scrub them in before i can push them. and coming from off-road only knobbies i can tell it already rides much smoother.
also the luggage rack was on the bike when i purchased it, i think its a stock option that these had. ive seen a few on e-bay. had to go grab a couple pictures. ![]()

I like the look of those tires- they look a lot like the IRC GP110's I have on my XL350.
not the best pic... ![]() Kinda miss my collection. ![]()

Took me for ever to find the XL thread. Lots and lots of threads on this site. Looks like I got lots of pages to look though. I recently received a 82 Xl250R as a gift. I did some initial examining and ordered some parts. While I waited for the parts to come in the mail. I went to the local sand dunes for some fun. here are some pictures.
I found this HUGE mailbox on the way to the sand dunes. ![]() This is a great way to park the bike ![]() Juniper sand dunes- juniper tree, not many around these parts too far north ![]() had to take a rest. ![]() I actually got some air time today. ![]() Got a new chaing, 53t sprocket, duals sport mirrors, and front brake shoes coming in the mail, |

Hi all. I'm not sure if people will have seen this in the Old's Cool section but I'm having problems with my 73 SL125. Getting very hot and having near seizures. I was wondering if people on this thread had any idea of what is wrong. I'm really stumped on this and so want to get riding it again.
Here is the link: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...=744803&page=4 I've linked to page 4 but the previous pages gives you an idea of what I've gone through so far. Many thanks if anyone can take a look. John |

Hey you XL guys, have you seen this thread?
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...hlight=parting I am not in the market for one, but maybe someone here can save this bike from being parted out. Short of that, I'm sure someone could use some '82 XL185s parts. |

little update for those who care, ive put just shy of 200 miles on these kenda tires on my old 185 and love them so far on the street. tried a little wet grass/mud and they are honestly useless. the front was fine but the rear has no grip per say. but i originally got these because this is my DD rain or shine 99% street only.
