Hwy 411 in Benton TN. Not as bad as it used to be but still a trap. I know a guy who got a 5mph over ticket there.

I-93 in NH on any summer weekend. There's one spot, I can't remember exactly where, but you crest a hill and there are cops about a mile ahead on the straightaway. They get you coming over the hill and walk out into the middle of the highway to wave you over. They don't even have to get in their cruisers. Usually there are about 3 vehicles pulled over at a time.

They must make a killing because their cruisers are all brand new and I assume that with such a small population, their only revenue source is from ticketing weekend travelers on the highway. It's a fucking scam.

+1 for Benton, TN. Always been a speed trap town for as long as I can remember.

Know better than to blast through I77 / I81 in VA else it would rank up there too.
I85 bypass around Greensboro - way too frequent to be a coincidence.

I'd say I-10 from the Arizona border on into Los Angeles.

The CHP vigorously enforces the 70mph limit with wolfpacks of patrol units, airplanes, everything they've got.

You might as well just give up and drive the limit.

Mind you it's dead straight, very few on-ramps, next to zero merging traffic, nothing to hit but sagebrush if you went off the road. The two sides of the road are WELL separated.

Then you get on into Indio, Palm Springs, the highway goes from 4 lanes to 6 or 8, the speed LIMIT goes DOWN to 65mph, there's little median, LOTS of cars getting on and off, merging, and the average speed goes UP to 80, with lots of cars doing 85, and a few idiots doing 90+ and passing everybody,

And CHP is no where to be seen.

The Virginia I95 speed trap on the last 35 miles before the North Carolina border is infamous...

They ticket for 10 over and you'll get a Reckless Driving ticket if you drive 80mph or higher.

I got tagged in the this sorry assed, one stop light fricking town on the way home to N Tex. Speed trap little town is what it is. Speed zone went from 70 (kicked off the cruise), to 60 to 40 in short order. I got clocked at 11 over. I was in my Z06 that time. I came thru there in my truck, kicked the cruise off at 70 again, this time I was armed with the latest in detector technology, but he wasn't sitting there. I was still at 11 over, you can't coast down and stay below the speed limit in this town. Ok, off my soap box, carry on.

Been traveling through there all my life "Same as it ever was, same as it ever was..."

Bunch of militant pricks from the cops on up through the judges. I go around their town every time now.
