We were clean, well rested and in good spirits.

Colorado TAT. Cold, wet, and loads of fun.

We met a small group of fellow ADV'rs also on the TAT, too long ago to remember names or even where they were from, plus I smoke way too much weed to remember details like that. I do however remember seeing them way ahead of us on a fast, open, and slightly muddy section of the trail.

Open roads without distraction is my happy place, I can't stand anyone to be in front of me. (except Nancy)

Traction was good, ominous clouds surrounding our world, our gear fulfilling it's purpose keeping us comfy…. time to haul ass, big mountains were waiting to be concurred! I had the Alpine Loop in my sights, and Utah beyond that. While we were still on our time, moving forward and not dilly dallying had taken over.

I'll just let the photos do the talking for now, you fill in the blanks!

Still all smiles, she had no idea what we were about to do. The Alpine Loop is hands down one of the most scenic rides one can do in Colorado, taking you up, up, up and away! While it's not that technical, there's plenty of steep climbs to do, mostly on grated gravel roads. Huge drop offs to distract you is the big thing, and I knew some of the 3000' drop offs would be stressful for her.
Being the badass ADV girl, Nancy pushed on, staying on the throttle on the little GS that could.

Live from the Back of a Bus Heading to Chicago!

It's probably better I just let more photos tell the story some more at this point in time.

They say you can't have an adventure without a little fear right? Well we had a huge adventure and I had a lot of fear: . But I was determined not let anything ruin our trip. When it got a little scary, which was quite frequent, Finn just smiled and told me to relax and stay on the throttle!!!!!! So I did my best!

I still look back with wonder thinking..... WOW, that's me way up there? On that road?

This is Us having the time of our lives....

Chicks wearing glasses are sexy. And this one has 'balls' to ride with the Finn Meister on a trip that would put many of us to shame.

You go girl. Finn I can see why you like this girl. You guys are having the time of your lives. I appreciate that you keep us screen jockeys posted. Lovin the report, it's one I always read. And the photos. Shit, man, you take some good pics.

Hi Cheryl and Leslie,
After riding all day in dirt, having a cold beer and eating delicious pork chops on an open fire, seeing the stars and well talking about all the things you've experienced while getting LOST is the best when you have a great partner to share it with

I'm definitely a "blind chick" I've been wearing glasses since I was a small girl so they're are very much a part of me... If I tell you how many, I would probably have to kill you . Seriously, I take 4 or 5 pair with me depending how long our trips are. Thank goodness they pack small...

Mr. Munchmeister.... Thank you....I am so much enjoying this new found passion of riding motorbikes.... I'm out there practicing as much as possible, maybe next year ill be good enough to go to the Baja 1000
We all have our dreams eh?

One day we'll get to Montenegro!!!! Haven't forgotten
