I have the Monarch. I like the compactness, but suffer the same shoulder blade dig unless positioned exactly right. And I'm a little worried if I twist in it at all. Seems like that it would collapse if you went too far. And frankly, it does kinda suck to have the in and out struggle. Would be nice to just sit down without having to hold and position the chair just right first. Good, but could be better.

I like the look of the Kermit, but I have a KLR with soft bags not a GS with suitcases. Probably couldn't go up hill anymore with a Kermit on the back I see a helionox in my future I think...

Kermit Chairs.
If you are 6'3", 280 lbs. like me, the only chair you should buy is a Kermit. I have had many lesser chairs fail under my weight, at $20.00 a crack, and have been left at many a camp ground. My Kermit I have had for 10 years now, so the cost of owner ship is down to $13.00 a year. The longer you own the Kermit the quicker it goes together as the canvas stretches. Now don't get me wrong, my Kermit as failed me once, but a quick call to Kermit got me a Replacement part free of charge. When I'm on my bike my kermit is with me like a good friend.

Yeah, another plus is that the carry straps on the one I have are really good for holding an inflatable pillow in place, so I get to sleep better as well.
