I wouldn't call it grand, but the egg has found it's way to a nice place. Any time of the year the Santa Ynez Valley is beautiful, but this time of the year after a little rain the hills are lush and green, the
temperature is moderate, the vineyards are gearing up and the tourists haven't yet arrived.

There is a kiosk at the entrance:

Behind the kiosk is an electrical box:

In this electrical box you will find the egg:

I put the egg in a plastic zip lock bag to protect it from water.

Nice Jeff. And for those never to witness some of the wine country in CA, it is as Jeff said after the rains last week just beautiful. You and Mike are determined to get me on the 101 and the 405 aren't ya???!!!

Yeah it sucks for me, I have to run the 101, the 405 and the 5 to get there!!! Mayve I coul leave about 0100 and do it. That way I could run the HOV lane without any competition. LOL Jeff, you know I hate those freeways up there!!!

SB too Far... would wear out a tire and cant cut thru clear creek... Think the egg needs to see the sierras and yosemite...

That day actually started out in Beatty, NV @ 0530 & 27 degrees. The day before I rode the White Stag rally, I had the printer because, for those of us without Polaroids, we had to print our pictures. I won the helmet in the after rally raffle (which was great because my wife needed a helmet). From Beatty,NV my friend and I rode through the Mojave National Preserve and Joshua Tree NP to Borrego Springs to grab the ST-Owners So. Cal. TAG and the ADV TAG. Then to Murrieta to meet up with a few other ST1300 owners who were changing tires. Then we made our way over Ortega to the 5 then the 405 (

Carpool lanes

) then the 101 and 1 to home; making a short detour to Santa Paula where we relocated the ST-Owners TAG.
