I didn't know that. I know that the st-owners.com OH tag has been sitting in Cleveland for quite a while now. I don't know if I'll be able to run up there and move it while I'm home or not.

The idea behind this game is to Tag some of the best locations in the country. I'd like to see it go from Coast to Coast, so as such I'll post the first tag shortly on the East Coast.

Rules for this version:

#1 File photos are not allowed.

#2 Dirt is allowed; however, let everyone know that the route to the tag includes dirt roads. Also, use your judgement on placing the tag to ensure that someone else will most likely come and get it, i.e. don't turn this into the "lets see who can find the most obscure tag location in history" thread.

#3 Have fun!

EDIT: Blah! I hate too many rules, but I suppose they're necessary.

Additional Rules:

#4 Tag mascot (i.e. blockhead, chicken, etc.) is required to clame the tag. Please post your "bruced" pictures even if the tag mascot has already been taken. Tag claims must be posted within 12 hours of the 1st "bruced" photo. In the even no official tag claim is made within 12 hours, the person with the 1st "bruced" photo gets the tag and the honor of choosing the next Tag mascot. (does that make any sense??)

#5 Read the Rules, understand the intent of the game. Quality not Quantity. If you want to tag a stop sign at the corner of "I'm impatient" and "Hurry Up" roads just to up the tag count, play a local game instead.. There are no rules that say you can't play more than one game at a time, so if this one sits for a week or two while the stars align for a big move, then so be it.. Obviously don't sit on it for weeks on end if you have no plans to actually take it somewhere though.

Rules may be modified or added later if it is determined that they are needed to promote movement of the tag.

If you don't know how the Tag game works, please review some of the other Tag games that are currently in play:

There are others as well.
great idea!

WOW...the riders in California, (you know....those guys who get to ride all year round)...are gonna kill this game. (at least for us out West)

And I am NOT refering to Motomac...
he's gone above and beyond the call of duty to not only get 'drafted' into playing this game, but once he got the TAG out here, moved it around himself to try to keep the interest up....to no avail.

and now it's probably gonna go back East

bye-bye Mr. Egg.

Makes no sense to me either. I was worried, when it went west, that it would be a long time before it came back east. I figured that with the great riding weather out there Mr. Egg would be kept moving. Sadly, if it were not for Moto, Mr. Egg would be stuck.

Well, since it looks like Mr. Egg is gonna miss Bike Week (yup, it's an upper case event in Florida) just drop him in the Heart of Dixie.

OK, if those Ohioans are so good at moving tags, how come noone from Ohio has respoded to this thread since I got the egg the 1st time???!!! And especially since I announced I was taking it to Ohio. Maybe I should lay it in AL, it might make it to Bike Week if I left it the Mobile area. C'mon Ohio, talk to me. I'll be out of touch in Big Bend for the next 3 days. I'm in Van Horn for the night and head for the River Road in the morning. No wifi or broad band in the Park.

Come on along and pay us all a visit...

Did I miss the clues as to where the tag is? Why should we say anything about our intentions untill the new tag is posted. I've said too much and must sneak back to the shadows before another OTA player arrives.

We didn't actually invent it so much as we coined the term and IMO perfected the rules.
As far as I know JJMSP should get the honors for inventing the game...

However that game has been stalled for a few months now...
