Go for it Boatman!!! The last time you had Mr Egg you had to move him south for the winter. Take the time and move him north for the summer this time. The only reason I moved him south again is because I figured he would like to see the Jersey shore before it got to crowded to leave the tag there and not get Egg Napped..

Boatman dropped Mr. Egg in NY in December and I took it to Florida where it bounced a few times before the infamous handoff to Motomac at Stagecoach RTE. Motomac ran it to SoCa where it bounced a few times at which time MotoMac ran it over to Ohio...etc, etc...

Now I have my eye on Mr. Egg for a possible grab to run it to Texas or beyond. :evi l

Sounds like we're gonna see a race for the tag lol.. Ill be happy just to see the egg move before the tides come up and flood Mr Egg. He doesnt have his swim suit or life jacket.

Hey Danny,,, go for it! Looks like I'll be on too tight of a schedule tomorrow and I'd rather bring it back up north for a spell. If it's still there next week when I'm coming back north..... that bitch is mine!!!

My time frame is out in early April for a (MOONSHINE IL. RTE 4/10/2010) kick off to to a ride through Mexico and Belize. Does that count as North America?
I don't want to hog Mr. Egg any longer than necessary so if he is anywhere in striking distance of NYC say, around April 6th or 7th I'll volunteer my services as courier to points southwest.

As far as "that bitch is mine" goes...I'll take sloppy seconds...

Where's the egg?

I don't know whether I was Bruced or whether Mr Egg is missing in action. I got to the tag location Wed. night at about 10:45 PM.

I searched thoroughly on the right side, but there was no sign of the egg.

I gave up after looking for 10 minutes. Turned around and headed home. It was 80 miles each way; and raining all the way home. Got home about 1 AM ,soaked and discouraged. Hopefully another inmate has the egg.

That's a bummer. Did you look *behind* the right side pilings?
I could have got picked up, but it sure looks dark over there.
Did you have a flashlight? The ADV marked rock should have still been there.
Sorry about the disapointment. I know the feeling. I rode three hours each way to come up empty on my first NA TAG attempt in the Catskill Mtns.
No rain that day just late November cold.

John...you rode 80 miles each way, and only looked under the right side????

...if I had riden that far and had trouble locating the tag, by the time I had left I would have shreaded the place so bad that it wouldda looked like someone had dropped Agent Orange on the area!!!!

man, that sucks!

I looked all around the right and left side pilings. I was using a flashlight when I was searching. I'll be really pissed if it's still there and I missed it.
I did see a golf ball; but no egg.

You put a lot of time into it and the bag was starting to accumulate some impressive loot (leatherman tool). I'd suggest finding out who does maintenance for the park and see if the bag was turned in as a lost & found item.
I really hope the egg will show up, but if it doesn't after the proper time, you get the honor of placing the new tag. I had both blockhead and the egg, so look forward to grabbing whatever is next if eggy doesn't return.

Wow.. Cant believe its missing. I had it just behind the piling on the right side of the sign. I feel bad for you John. It was just over 100 miles each way for me to plant the tag on sunday. But I didnt have to do it in the dark or in the rain. Whats the ruling on the amount of time we wait to get a new mascot into play? I thought it was like 2 weeks when the chicken went missing from Coney Island. If a new mascot is needed I'd be happy to purchase it since It was on my tag it got lost. Id be happy to meet up with John for a hand off to restart the game since he was first on the scene. Ill be sure to watch for reports or egg sightings.
